It has been 100 years since the first Relief Society meeting was conducted in Victoria, Australia – on the 15th July 1921 at the missionaries’ home at 21 Ramsden Street Collingwood. The events of 1921 to 1923 were significant for establishing a church community in Victoria.
She was known by many names throughout her life: Leonie, Mum, Nana, Sister Bennallack . . . but perhaps her greatest triumph as a mother is that “her children [continue to] rise up and call her blessed.”
