Elder Taniela B. Wakolo

Elder Taniela B. Wakolo was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 1, 2017. At the time of his call, he had been serving as president of the Arkansas Little Rock Mission. He is currently serving as a member of the Pacific Area Presidency.

Since joining the Church in 1994, Elder Wakolo has served in numerous callings, including seminary and institute teacher, branch president, high councilor, counselor in a bishopric, counselor in a stake presidency, stake president, president of the Arkansas Little Rock Mission, Area Seventy and president of the Philippines Area.

Elder Wakolo studied management and public administration at the University of the South Pacific. In 2007 he received a master’s degree in management from the University of Sunshine Coast, Australia.

Taniela Biu Wakolo was born in Lomaloma, Lau, Fiji, on June 25, 1967. He married Anita Herberta Moimoi in August 1987. They are the parents of two children.


 

Elder Jeremy R. Jaggi

Elder Jeremy R. Jaggi was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 4, 2020. At the time of his call, he had been serving as an Area Seventy and a member of the Fifth Quorum of the Seventy in the Utah Area. He served as an area assistant to the North America Central Area. He also served at Church headquarters in the Missionary and Priesthood and Family Departments, with special focus on the Scriptures Committee and Military Relations. He currently serves in the Pacific Area Presidency.

Elder Jaggi served as a missionary in the Ohio Cleveland Mission. He later presided over the Utah Ogden Mission with his wife, Amy. Other callings include stake Missionary Preparation teacher, assistant stake executive secretary, elders quorum president, seminary teacher, counselor in a ward Young Men presidency, counselor in a bishopric, ward mission leader, and bishop.

Elder Jaggi received a Bachelor of Science degree in behavioral science and health from the University of Utah in 1997. In 2002, he received an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from Pepperdine University. He worked as a biotechnology sales and marketing executive.

Jeremy Robert Jaggi was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on March 23, 1973. He married Amy Anne Stewart in 1995. They are the parents of five children.


 

Elder Hans T. Boom

Elder Hans T. Boom was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 6, 2019. At the time of his call, he had been serving as a temple ordinance worker for the Hague Netherlands Temple and as an institute teacher. Elder Boom is currently Assistant Director to the Missionary Department and Advisor to Welfare and Self-Reliance Services and JustServe. He previously served at President of the Europe North Area.

Elder Boom has served in a number of Church callings, including full-time missionary in the England London East Mission, counselor in a branch presidency, branch president, stake Young Men president, counselor in a stake presidency, stake president, and Area Seventy in the Europe Area.

Hans Theodorus Boom was born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on July 13, 1963. He married Ariena Johanna Broekzitter in 1984 in the London England Temple. They are the parents of three sons.


 

Elder Matthew J. Eyring

Elder Matthew J. Eyring was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at the April 2026 general conference.

Elder Eyring has served in a number of Church callings, including full-time missionary in the Chile Santiago South Mission, bishop, stake presidency counselor, mission presidency counselor, and Area Seventy.

Elder Eyring earned a bachelor of arts degree in economics from the University of Utah in 1992 and a master of business administration degree from Harvard Business School in 1998. He worked as a consultant for the Monitor Company, as a product manager for Medtronic, as a managing partner of Innosight, LLC, and as chief strategy and innovation officer of Vivint. He has worked as vice president of career development for BYU-Pathway since 2021.

Matthew Johnson Eyring was born in Palo Alto, California, on July 19, 1969. He married Amy Rebecca Froerer in 1995. They are the parents of five children.
