Elder Peter F. Meurs

Elder Peter F. Meurs was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 2, 2016. He is currently serving as the president of the Pacific Area Presidency.

Elder Meurs has served in numerous callings, including full time missionary, elders quorum president, branch president, bishop, stake president, counselor in a mission presidency, and Area Seventy.

Elder Meurs received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Monash University in 1980. He worked for Esso Australia on the development of oil and gas production fields. He was a founding partner of Worley Parsons Limited, an international engineering services and project management company. He led an iron ore project for Fortescue Metals, where he served as an executive director on the board.

Peter Fletcher Meurs was born in Warrnambool, Victoria, Australia, on December 21, 1956. He married Maxine Evelyn Thatcher in January 1979. They are the parents of four children.


 

Elder Taniela B. Wakolo

Elder Taniela B. Wakolo was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 1, 2017. At the time of his call, he was serving as president of the Arkansas Little Rock Mission. Currently he serves as a member of the Pacific Area Presidency.

Elder Wakolo studied management and public administration at the University of the South Pacific. In 2007 he received a master’s degree in management from the University of Sunshine Coast.

Since joining the Church in 1994, he has served in numerous callings, including seminary and institute teacher, branch president, high councillor, bishop’s counsellor, stake president’s counsellor, stake president, president of the Arkansas Little Rock Mission, and an Area Seventy.

Taniela Biu Wakolo was born in Lomaloma, Lau, Fiji on June 25, 1967. He married Anita Herberta Moimoi in August 1987. They are the parents of two children.


 

Elder Jeremy R. Jaggi

Elder Jeremy R. Jaggi was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 4, 2020.

At the time of his call, Elder Jeremy R. Jaggi had been serving as an Area Seventy and a member of the Fifth Quorum of the Seventy in the Utah Area. He served as an area assistant to the North America Central Area. Currently he serves as a member of the Pacific Area Presidency.

He has worked as a biotechnology marketing and sales executive at Amgen Inc. and Alkermes Inc. At the time of his call as a General Authority, he was heading the west sales region of Alkermes Inc. and managing commercial real estate at HCA Investments LLC.

Elder Jaggi received a bachelor of science degree in behavioral science and health from the University of Utah in 1997. In 2002 he received an executive master of business administration degree from Pepperdine University.

Elder Jaggi served as a missionary in the Ohio Cleveland Mission. He later presided over the Utah Ogden Mission. Other callings include stake missionary preparation teacher, assistant stake executive secretary, elders quorum president, seminary teacher, counselor in a ward Young Men presidency, counselor in a bishopric, ward mission leader, and bishop.

Jeremy Robert Jaggi was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on March 23, 1973. He married Amy Anne Stewart in 1995. They are the parents of five children.
