New Temple President for Hamilton, New Zealand Temple

A new temple president and his wife have been called by the First Presidency. They will begin their service later this year.

Sidney Milton Going, 69, Paihia Branch, Kaikohe New Zealand Stake, called as president of the Hamilton New Zealand Temple, succeeding President James Dunlop. President Going's wife, Colleen Shirley Ferguson Going, will serve as temple matron. He serves as a branch mission leader and in a young single adult assignment. He has served as a stake president's counselor, bishop and high councilor. A retired farmer, he was born in Kawakawa, New Zealand, to Cyril Milton Cutforth and Mary Grace Going.

Sister Going serves as a nursery leader and in a young single adult assignment. She has served in stake Relief Society and Primary presidencies, as a ward Primary president and gospel doctrine teacher. She was born in Whangarei, New Zealand, to Hugh Rex and Ronnie Doreen Bell Ferguson.
