Mark Stanley Brunton was set apart as the new Stake President at the Auckland New Zealand Henderson Stake Conference held on 19th January 2014 where Elder Kevin W. Pearson of the Seventy and member of the Pacific Area Presidency presided.
President Brunton has had many Church callings over the years including Stake Presidency Counsellor, High Councilman, Bishop, Stake Executive Secretary, Bishop’s Counsellor, High Priest Group Leader, Elders Quorum President and Young Men’s President.
President Brunton currently serves as a senior officer in the Royal New Zealand Air Force. He is married to Debbie Brunton and they have six children and thirteen grandchildren.
