Elder O. Vincent Haleck was on assignment in Samoa in on 26th January 2014 where he reorganised the Upolu Samoa South Stake and set apart President Mataaii P. Faiumu as the new Stake President.
A few years ago President Faiumu served as the Bishop of the Saraemila Ward before he was called as the First Counsellor in the Stake Presidency of the Upolu Samoa South Stake.
President Faiumu is married to Diana and they have seven children.
